Eid-ul-Adha 2021
Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah ﷻ, the month of Zul Hijjah is upon us. The dates are as follows:
- Sunday 11 July = 1 Zul Hijjah
- Monday 19 July = Day of Arafah (9 Zul Hijjah)
- Tuesday 20 July = Eid-ul-Adha (10 Zul Hijjah)
InshaAllah, we’ll be holding two Eid Jamats at our Mosque:

Takbir Al-Tashreek
From the Fajr of 9 Zul Hijjah (Monday 19 July) to the Asr of 13 Zul Hijjah (Friday 23 July), it is Waajib to recite the Takbir Al Tashreek once after every Fardh Namaz.

Qurbani
For those who are completing Qurbani, it is a Sunnah of Rasoolullah ﷺ to obtain from cuttings one’s hair and nails until the Qurbani has been completed.
“When the ten days (of Zul Hijjah) commence and a person has a sacrificial animal, which he intends to slaughter, then let him not cut his hair or pare his nails.”
Sahih Al Muslim
We’d like to wish all a happy and safe Eid Mubarak.
