RAMADAN MUBARAK!

By the grace of Allah ‎ﷻ Ashton Jam’e Mosque is pleased to announce:

1 Ramadan 1442 will be on Tuesday 13 April 2021

May Allah make this a blessed month for all of us!

Taraweeh

The Taraweeh prayers will commence tonight, starting at 10:15pm.

We ask everyone to follow the guidelines, such as:

1.You MUST do Wudhu at home

2. You MUST wear a mask

3. You MUST bring a prayer mat

4. If you or anyone in your house has the virus, a high temperature or a constant cough. Do not come to the Mosque

Iftar

Due to current Government restrictions, Iftar at the Mosque will be limited to just water and dates. We ask all our Musalli to adhere to the Government guidelines and complete their Iftar at home.

Itiqaaf

Itiqaaf will be limited to a small number of people due to Government restrictions. Those who intend to complete Itiqaaf, please let the Mosque leadership know of your intention.

For the people who wish to complete Itiqaaf, you must be in the Mosque before sunset on 20 Ramadan, which will be Sunday 2 May.

May Allah make your Itiqaaf easy and accept it from you.

Eid-ul-Fitr

We expect Eid-ul-Fitr to be on Thursday 13 May 2021, however, this is subject to sighting the moon of Shawwal.

Jamat Times will be confirmed closer to Eid.

COVID-19 guidelines will still be followed.

Sadaqatul Fitr

For this year, Sadaqatul Fitr has been set at £5.00 per person. The latest the Sadaqatul Fitr can be given is before the Eid Jamat.

We advise you pay this during the month of Ramadan to ensure it reaches those in need before Eid.
